Kuga Kyouichirou / 久我匡一郎

Character Checks:

• Speak to him in the Companion Phase.
• Speak to him two more times in the Companion Phase.
• Station him along with either Tenrou Kunagi (天楼久那妓) or Kyoudou Senna (京堂扇奈) and an event should auto-trigger on the next turn. Zanma Rouga (斬真狼牙) must not be in that region.
• Station him in Ousaka (王阪) for an event to auto-trigger on the next turn.
• Station him in the same region as Sparn (スパーン) for an event to auto-trigger on the next turn (Sparn will leave your team after the event).

Other Notes:

• Speaking to him once will allow Zanma Rouga (斬真狼牙) to remember and use his Wolf Fang skill.
• About his 3rd star in Kyoudou Senna (京堂扇奈) route, you need to be complete this star before defeated the NPI

Ginjou Tomoka / 銀城智香

How to obtain: First, capture one of the generic soldiers from the PGG (the rifle guys with a red beret) and interrogate him in the Prison Phase. Afterwards, conquer the PGG by defeating her in a Deathmatch by triggering the event "Showdown with Tomoka (決戦:銀城智香)" in Shizuoka (志津岡).

• The Red Beret prisoner has an extremely low appearance priority, so be careful about capturing too many troops. If you have 20 prisoners, then it will likely take you 10 turns before the PGG unit appears.

Skill:

• Tactical Control: Passive. Increases the HIT, EVA and Counter Rate % of allies in zone by 10.

Character Checks:

• Speak to her in the Companion Phase.
• After the previous star, station her in Shizuoka (志津岡) for an event to auto-trigger at the beginning of the next turn (may take a few turns). (Got this star w/o getting previous star.)
• Station her in any of the following places: Toukyou (闘京), or Akihabara (秋波原) or Tottori (塔鳥). After an event triggers there with her, speak to her in the Companion Phase. (You need 2nd clear first)
• Station her in any region whose peace is falling apart (the red skull and crossbones appear). A start-of-turn event will trigger (eventually) in which she stops a fight.
• Station her in any region whose peace is falling apart (the red skull and crossbones appear). A start-of-turn event will trigger (eventually) in which she stops a fight. After that, speak to her one last time during companion phase. This is otherwise identical to her 4th character check.

Other Notes:

• CG [7-1-3] is obtained automatically when you invade the PGG. Note that the scene is not triggered if the PGG attacks first.
• CG [7-1-4] is obtained by clearing her 3rd star.
• If you haven't cleared her 3rd star, she will leave your group when Koube (香辺) becomes independent and Murata, the former leader of the PGG, joins them.
• Her Stamina increases every 30 levels.
• For her 4th and 5th star, you should choose a region where income is 0 like MOO! and don't station any troop there until peace drop to a red skull (Peace drop = income drop).
• Her events have EXTREMELY low priority, and will take a back seat to nearly every 1st-3rd star event of every other character. For this reason, make an effort to character clear her early on to ensure that you do not lose her.

Todoroki Yuu / 二十六木遊

How to obtain: Station Zanma Gou (斬真豪) in Forestland to discover the World Tree and then suppress it. Wait several turns for events to occur during the Indepedents' turn until the event "Search for Elves" (エルフの捜索) becomes available. Trigger it twice for him to join you along with Sonnet (ソネット). Note that if you take too long after the first Search event becomes available, Sparn will kidnap Sonnet and you will be unable to recruit either her or Yuu and will instead have the option to recruit Sparn.

Skill:

• Prosperous: Passive. Randomly increases the income of the region he's stationed in.

Character Checks:

• Speak to him twice in the Companion Phase.
• Construct any building in Toukyou (闘京), then trigger the event "Buried Voice / Yuu (地下からの声／遊)". The building will be destroyed. 
• Repeat the same process in Ousaka (王阪).
• Repeat the same process in  Aomory (アオモリ).
• Have him participate in at least 10 battles for a start of turn event.

Other Notes:

• After clearing his 2nd, 3rd and 4th stars he will receive a power up.
• You cannot clear the 5th star if Sonnet dies.

Sonnet / ソネット

• Station her with Todoroki Yuu (二十六木遊) in Forestland (樹界) for a start of turn event.
• Station her with Todoroki Yuu (二十六木遊) in a region other than Forestland (樹界) and Shinjuku (真宿) for a start of turn event. 
• Station her with Todoroki Yuu (二十六木遊) in Shinjuku (真宿) for a start of turn event.

Other Notes:

• CG [7-2-1] is obtained if you don't recruit her and Sparn (スパーン) kidnaps her.
• CG [7-2-2] is automatically obtained a few turns after the Zanma brothers discover the elves.
• She will die if she stays outside Forestland (樹界) or Shinjuku (真宿) for too long.
• Her loyalty decreases significantly if she is stationed outside of Forestland or Shinjuku or if stationed separate from Yuu. 
• Her ability will power up (to 20% and 30%) with the second and fourth stars that you clear. 

Asakura Yuma / 朝狗羅由真

How to obtain: After fighting with the PGG for a while, they will start using tanks. Quickly suppress Akihabara (秋波原) and trigger the event "Asakura Yuma's Room" (朝狗羅由真の部屋). If you trigger the event without having Akihabara suppressed, you will be forced to run away. If you defeat the PGG first or if you take too long, she will die.

Skill:

• Mercy: 2 Stamina. Non-lethal attack. 
• (Anti-Tank): Passive. Reduces the hit of all tanks in the same battle to 0, including your own. 

Character Checks:

• Speak to her 3 times in the Companion Phase.
• Start of turn event after the 1st star.
• Start of turn event after the 2nd star.
• After the 3rd star, station her with red Mouri Sonken (毛利尊拳) for a start of turn event.
• After the 4th star, you need to clear red Mouri Sonken`s (毛利尊拳) 3rd star. Then station them together for another start of turn event.

Other Notes:

• CG [7-3-1] is obtained by waiting a bit before recruiting her while fighting the PGG.
• Asakura Yuma is needed for the character clears of Mouri Sonken (red) and Shinoda Kansuke.
• If you have Asakura Yuma (朝狗羅由真) with you and Youki is in prison, Youki will escape. To obtain both, you must persuade Youki to join before recruiting Yuma. 

Cleo Aripa / クレオ・アリパ

How to obtain: Capture her in battle in Tottori (塔鳥), then persuade her twice. A beneficial glitch from one of the patches makes it unnecessary to trigger the event "Negotiate with Cleo." Note that to clear her 5th star you also need to recruit an Arabian unit and that to clear her 2nd star you need to defeat the PGG before capturing her or conquering Tottori.

• Summon Genie-chan: 3 Stamina. Deals 40 damage at 80% hit and evades the enemy attack.

Character Checks:

• Speak to her 3 times in the Companion Phase.
• Conquer the PGG without capturing her or taking over Tottori (塔鳥) for an automatic event during the Indepedents' turn.
• Raise her level 10 times (68 to next) for a start of turn event. 
• Station her in Tottori (塔鳥) and trigger the event "Queen Cleo of the Desert" ("砂漠の女王クレア").
• After the previous star, station her in Tottori (塔鳥) with an Arabian unit, then trigger the event "Cleo of the Desert: Epilogue" ("続砂漠の女王クレオ").

Other Notes:

• Every 8 levels her Stamina increases by 1.
• Cleo Aripa is needed to clear Naruse Yuuki and Ijuuin Tamari.

Gyver Mac / 凱場マック

How to obtain: Reach the 5th floor of 3 dungeons*, then trigger the event "Adventurer Mac" ("冒険者マック") in Tottori (塔鳥).

• 1UP: 1 Stamina. Fully restores all but one point of Gyver Mac's stamina.

Character Checks:

• Speak to him twice in the Companion Phase.
• Level him up 10 times (139 to next) and speak to him in the Companion Phase.
• Station him in Kyou (京) and trigger the event "Gyver Mac's Adventure" ("凱場マック冒険").
• Clear the 8th floor of the Chaos Angel Tower* (探索：混沌天使の塔) in Tottori (塔鳥). Kinryuu (金竜) will join you.
• Clear the 5th star of Kinryuu (金竜) and then station the two of them in Sangoku (三国). An event should auto-trigger. Kinryuu's 2nd star may also be required.

Other Notes:

• All dungeons, including Sunshine VI in the District chapter, count towards the total. The only exception is that the event will only occur in the BIG site if you already own the Mysterious Dog.
• To make the Chaos Angel Tower appear, interrogate an eyeless unit after speaking with Gyver Mac once, then trigger the event "Northern Bar" in Aomory. The Tower can only be visited during full moons.
• He is a reference to MacGyver

Tanzawa Nina / 丹沢丹奈

How to obtain: Buy out ALL the items (last item made available ~turn 55) in the Tantan Shop located in Akihabara (秋波原). After you buy the last item, she'll kick you out. Visit the store again and a new item (herself) should be present that costs 13 BP. Buy it (her) and she will join.

• Trigger the event Black Market/Nina (闇取引／丹沢丹奈) in Yokohama (横濱).
• Station her in HAWAII (HAWAII) and an event should auto-trigger on the next turn.
• Station her in Toukyou (闘京) and an event should auto-trigger on the next turn.
• An event should auto-trigger at the beginning of a turn when you have over 32 items (do note the buttons at the top of the inventory along with the "Secret Diary (ひみつ日記)" are not counted).

Other Notes:

• CG [8-3-1] is obtained by doing her first star clear.
• The item Moonstone (ムーンストーン) is obtained after her second star clear.
• You get 500 BP after doing her third star clear.

Kinryuu / 金竜

How to obtain: Clear the Chaos Angel Tower ("探索：混沌天使の塔") in Tottori (塔島) with Gyver Mac (凱場マック) in the party. To have the dungeon appear, speak with Gyver Mac once, then interrogate an eyeless character. Then trigger the event "北の酒場(Northern Bar)" in Aomory (アオモリ). The dungeon can only be visited during full moons.

Vandain / ヴァンダイン

How to obtain: This one is a toughie. After having suppressed Forestland (樹界), suppress the Huge Magnet and then, after the PGG is annihilated, trigger the event "The Master of Forestland (樹界の主)". Now for the fun part: you must capture and interrogate (second option in prison) the next three types of eyeless units: the Chinese fighters from Sangoku, the Kansai archer girls from the NPI, and the Hokkaido snow archer girls from the Nightmare Eyes. After you get the parts from them (you just need the interrogation), trigger the event "Vandain (ヴァンダイン)" in Forestland (樹界).

Character Checks:

• Speak to him in the Companion Phase.
• Speak to him one more time in the Companion Phase.
• Station him in Nihon Bridge (日奔橋) and an event should auto-trigger on the next turn.
• Event auto-triggered when his level has been raised at least 5 times (exp value at or above 116).
• Defeat a soldier of the PGG with him. See notes below.

Other Notes:

• Since it's practically impossible to recruit him without having defeated the PGG yet, you can go down to the 5th floor of the Umeda Undercity dungeon in Ousaka (王阪) with him in your party. You can find two of the necessary targets there. You can also find two PGG soldiers on the 3rd floor of the Hirasaka Underworld dungeon in Shiname.

Shinoda Kansuke / 篠田勘助

How to obtain: Two ways to do this.

• After you defeat the PGG, he will show up on the beginning of a turn when you have over 500 BP. You are given an option to recruit him for 500 BP.
• If you don't pay for him, or if you wait long enough before defeating the PGG (turn 33), he will go to Nihonbashi (日奔橋) and defend the district with 4 tanks (113 HP) where you can capture him. Persuade him twice for him to join. Note that it's possible to reach Nihonbashi before he shows up, so you might have to leave the region alone until the event occurs during the Independents' turn.

Character Checks:

• Speak to him a few times in the Companion Phase until he completes a tank. This costs you 300 BP.
• After suppressing Akihabara (秋波原), trigger the event "勘輔と電気街".
• After suppressing Nihon Bridge (日奔橋), trigger the event "勘輔と電気街".
• Station him along with Asakura Yuma (朝狗羅由真) in any region for an event to auto-trigger.
• Speak to him in the Companion Phase until he makes the strongest tank. The amount of times that you have to talk to him is random.

Other Notes:

• If you attack NPI right after PGG, there is a chance he will go to Nihonbashi before you have a chance to hire/turn him down.
• He may not appear in Nihonbashi if you attack Kyou through Sangoku instead of normally advancing through Narra and Oosaka.
• He is needed for the character clear of Idagawa Ren. Thus, if you're planning on clearing Idagawa Ren, it's safer to hire Kansuke with BP because of the turn limit on Ren's events.
• The last tank he creates is stronger than the previous ones.

Tennouji Mio / 天王子ミオ

How to obtain: If you defeat the Nightmare Eyes by turn 33, she will appear a few turns later and cause animal riots in 4 regions marked with a $. The peace of each of these regions will decrease every turn, so quickly trigger the events to get rid of the animals. Next, interrogate an eyeless unit so that you can trigger the event Mio's Hideout (ミオの隠れ家) in Toukyou (闘京). This event is a deathmatch between Rouga and Mio with a dog, cat and monkey (Normal Mode) or several monkeys (Hard Mode) after which Mio will be captured. To persuade her, you need to have a dog and cat unit in your team, which can be recruited using the "Assorted Creatures (動物詰め合わせ)" event in HAWAII (HAWAII) that summons animals for battle.

Character Checks:

• Speak to her 3 times in the Companion Phase.
• Station her in Narra (七良) for a start of turn event. This is not the Yarashidou H-scene.
• Station her in MOO! (MOO!) for a start of turn event. 
• Speak to her in the Companion Phase when you have a dog, cat, monkey and panda unit in your group.
• After clearing the previous stars, station her and a dog unt in Abashiri (アバシリ). Trigger the event "Dog Sled Race!" (犬ぞりレース！).

Other Notes:

• Mio does not always appear after you've defeated the Nightmare Eyes. Her intial event likely gets pushed back by other events, in particular if you immediately invade NPI, and this can lead her to not ever appear during the playthrough. 
• CG [8-2-4] is obtained by stationing her in Narra (七良) after the SU has tasked you with capturing the enemy called Yarashidou (八羅四堂) but before capturing him.
• There might be a glitch where it is possible to get the Mio's Hideout (ミオの隠れ家) event through interrogation without having to fight against her animals. 

Comet-san / コメートさん

How to obtain: You must have Miyazato Erika (宮里絵梨香)', 'Shoko (ショーコ), and Saki (サキ) in your group. Suppress the Observatory ("制圧：天文台") in Shizuoka (志津岡), then starting at turn 41, trigger the event "Erika at the Observatory 1" ("絵梨花の天文台１") followed by the second and third instances of the same event. In the final event, choose "Run away" to have her join.

• Speak to her 3 times in the Companion Phase in total and trigger the event "Ms. Comet's Mission" (コメートさんの任務) in HAWAII (HAWAII).
• After the previous stars, station her in Toukyou (闘京) for a start of turn event. Then station her in Akihabara (秋波原) for a second start of turn event.
• After the previous star, station her in the same region as Abao Akuu (アバオ亜空) for one last start of turn event.

Other Notes:

• CG [8-3-2] is obtained with the first event of her 4th star. 

Mummy Shiraville VIII/ マミー Ｓ Ⅷ世

How to obtain: Suppress the Tottori (塔鳥) region, then suppress the Pyramid as well ("制圧：ピラミッド") and then trigger the event "ピラミッド調査" for her to join you.

• Station her in Tottori (塔鳥). She'll be recalled in a start-of-turn event. Then, station her in Tottori again. She'll be recalled again. Station her in Tottori once more and she'll be recalled yet again. Afterwards, speak to her once in the Companion Phase.
• Station her in Akihabara (秋波原). An event should auto-trigger on the next turn.
• Station her in Forestland (樹界). An event should auto-trigger on the next turn.

Other Notes:

• CG [7-3-3] is obtained by doing her 3rd star clear.
• The item "Strange Quick Bug (素早い変な昆虫)" can be randomly obtained by talking to her.
• Her events have very low priority.

Kirihara Takeshi / 桐原武士

How to obtain: Capture him in combat and persuade him once.
