Dark Heron is the codename given to an assassin of the special assassination brigade working for Helman, the Dark Wings. Like with most members of the group, her real name remains unknown.
She works directly for Freya, boasting an intimidating and oppressive look with purple hair and hiding eyes. Her clothing choice is similar to that of Freya herself, wearing a tight light armour that offers a decent protection, while being comfortable and suitable for agile fighters. She's mostly an assassin with a similar style to Freya's, but not as skilled as she is. Her personality also comes off as pretty similar, being serious and cold, but she's a bit more opened than Freya is.
She technically made first appearance in Rance VI, where she was sent to Zeth as an assassin in an attempt to liquidate the Helman Prince that was supposed to be dead, Patton Misnarge, along with other female assassins from the Dark Wings. Unfortunately, she failed at her mission and was raped by Rance, who was with Patton at that time. She reappeared in Rance IX, where surprisingly Rance remembered her despite the fact that they only met for a very short period of time and that was 2 years prior.
