Hmph!! Come at me!

—Patton, in battle.

Unit Description[]

A reckless man that uses no strategy. He believes that always pushing forward is the shortcut to victory.

As he's a fist fighter, he shows his true worth when he's fighting in narrow spaces.

Uses the special attack Chaotic War Dance.

Recruitment[]

  • Recruited when an alliance is formed with the Patton Faction.
    • Ally with Patton Army by attacking one of Patton's territories while Rick is still alive, then choose to accept.
    • Allying will recruit Patton, Hunty, Freak and Hubert, but is mutually exclusive with Rolex and Aristotles.
  • Required for:
    • Hanty Kalar's Happy Ending or Unhappy Ending (Patton must stay alive for her happy ending. If he dies, Hunty will leave the army, leading to her Unhappy Ending)
  • He will leave if Hunty dies.

Events[]

  • Start of turn event with Lelyukov, if both are recruited

Combat[]

  • If deployed with Hunty, both Patton and Hunty will receive the "surging with power" bonus, which can randomly increase the attack or defense values of their troops by up to 2 points.

Chaotic War Dance[]

Patton's special skill can be used after using the "Wait" command and charging for 1 turn. On his next turn, the option to use the skill will be enabled. This is a "Bomb" skill that causes damage to the whole unit while ignoring field size limitations, increasing in power with higher enemy troop sizes, but the enemy will counter attack with 20% of their troops and attack Patton directly. This skill will cause Patton to take 1 HP of damage for every 100 enemy troops. Assuming that you haven't raised his Max HP with Merim's buffs, Patton cannot safely use this skill against enemies with 1600+ troops, since he will be guaranteed to die from the recoil damage.

This is most useful in dungeons with small field sizes as it allows Patton to deal a lot of damage to large enemy units. Due to the fact that two whole turns are used in order to use the skill, it typically can be used twice per battle.
