Special Characters[]

Leopold / レオパルド[]

Leo

(c)アリスソフト

Main character of the game. He's generally somewhat weak, and once you start getting other Monster Girls you probably won't use him too often, except for when you use the combination attack. You can greatly raise his stats with the correct equipment though.

Since he can't be removed from your party, you have to stick with him for all of the game.

Starting Level: 1.

Attacks:

  • 手加減攻撃
Uses: 73.
Comments: His standard attack. Weak overall. If used to defeat a Girl Monster, she will have one less heart afterwards when you try to capture her.
  • 従魔超突撃
Uses: 3.
Comments: A combination attack of sorts. Leo will call on all the girls currently on battle to attack the enemy. If certain girls are on the party at the time, they will produce a special attack instead.
Combinations:
  • Yama no Sachi (山のさち) + Umi no Sachi (海のさち).
  • Captain Vanilla (キャプテン バニラ) + Kusushi (クスシ).
  • Sketch (スケッチ) + Yamorin (やもりん).
  • KyanKyan (きゃんきゃん) + Sulphur (サルファ).
  • Yamorin (やもりん) + Valkyrie (バルキリー).
  • Sexy Knight (セクシーナイト) + Touko-chan (とっこーちゃん).
  • Konte (コンテ) + ChapuChapu (ちゃぷちゃぷ).
  • Nekomatamata (ねこまたまた) + Kaminari Daikou (雷太鼓).
  • Kotodama (言霊) + KameKo (カメ子) + Chouchin (ちょーちん). This attack has a high chance to stun.
  • Sour (サワー) + Hebi-san (へびさん) + Kotodama (言霊).
  • Valkyrie (バルキリー) + Battle Note (バトルノート) + Kaminari Daikou (雷太鼓).
  • ChapuChapu (ちゃぷちゃぷ) + Death-Ko (デス子, 2nd playthrough girl).
  • Tokko-chan (とっこーちゃん) + Princess 長姫 + Kamikaze.
  • Any two of the next: Maid-san (メイドさん), Zukappa (ズかっぱ) and Harimao (はりまおー). This attack also has the bonus effect of healing you, but the healing won't work if the attack caused a finishing blow.
  • Any two of the next: Sour (サワー), Frozen(フローズン), Magician(まじしゃん).

Captain Vanilla / キャプテン バニラ[]

Vanilla

(c)アリスソフト

The captain of the ship where you'll spend most of your time (aside from dungeons, that's it). Overall, she has a great HP growth, and her strength is overall good, but not superb. You can increase her Attack with the fish items you can create with Kusushi, but the Pow##% items will eventually overcome this bonus.

Starting Level: 8.

Attacks:

  • 攻撃 / 攻撃2
Uses: 8.
Comments: Ice-based physical attack.
Upgraded Comments: Same as the standard, just increased power. Unfortunately this is a weak upgraded 1st skill in terms of damage since it only increases damage by a mere 20% and has a low damage cap.
  • マグロアッパー / 黒マグロアッパー
Uses: 3.
Comments: Ice-based physical attack. Particularly stronger than her standard attack. One of the better second skills of the game.
Upgraded Comments: Same as the standard, just increased power. Still fairly good.

Combat Ability: Rare Item Drop

Raises the odds of rare items dropping. Unique to her.

Field Ability: Wall Breaker

Capable of breaking down crippled walls.

Resistances: Normal.

Obtained where?

Fight her at the entrance of the 3rd Dungeon (Cliff). Once defeated, she will automatically join you without the need of capturing her.

Upgrade Priorities:

  • Her Combat Ability and then her second skill.

Kusushi / クスシ[]

Kusushi

(c)アリスソフト

A standard healer that has an uncommon attack. She has below average hep and her other stats are fairly average but her second attack has great damage potential. The item '毒玉' used in her second attack can be created with her through the black heaven stones (the 6 metal bar stack item).

Starting Level: 16.

Attacks:

  • ヒーリング2 / ヒーリング3
Uses: 8.
Comments: Recovers HP by a good amount.
Upgraded Comments: Recovers HP by an even higher amount.
  • 毒玉投げ / 毒玉2個投げ
Uses: 8.
Comments: A physical attack. Damage increases by 5% roughly with each '毒玉' item in your inventory. It starts off weakness but deals great damage with enough '毒玉'
Upgraded Comments: Same as above, but increased damage overall and raises the damage cap. This will be your staple killing skill.

Combat Ability: Growth Increase

Raises the EXP earned by 50%.

Field Ability: Poison Immunity

Allows you to walk over poison pools without taking damage.

Resistances: Normal.

Obtained where?

Fight her in the middle (Above water) of the 5th dungeon (Beach). Once defeated, she will automatically join you without the need of capturing her.

Upgrade Priorities:

  • Probably her Healing 2 to Healing 3. Upgrade her second skill once you have enough poison balls and it will be deal major damage.

Dungeon 1 (Forest) Girl Monsters[]

Kyan Kyan / きゃんきゃん[]

KyanKyan

(c)アリスソフト

Your first and only bunny-girl. Her use in battle is mostly miscellaneous becauses she possess no actual attacks. Her HP is excellent, she comes with a few resistances, and all of her skills are outstanding. Her M Search allows you to grind in the morning while enemies are still weak(very useful in hard mode and grinding in an area you've already clear has a drastically higher change to drop potion ingredients) and her second attack lets you fight at night without dying(as fast). She's one of the best characters in the game, though less useful on normal than hard mode.

Starting Level: 1.

Attacks:

  • 遊んで / もっと遊んで
Uses: 10.
Comments: Has a 60% chance of paralysing an enemy.
Upgraded Comments: Same as above, but 80% instead.
  • 防御付与1 / 防御付与2
Uses: 10.
Comments: Raises your defense by 5%.
Upgraded Comments: Raises your defense by 10%. Like all bufffs of this sort, it only works at full strength once per battle. Caps at 50 percent.

Combat Ability: Growth Increase.

Increases EXP earned by 50%.

Field Ability: M Search.

Press the M key to get into a random battle.

Resistances: Strong to Fire and Darkness.

Obtained where?

She's at the very start of the dungeon. You'll see her directly to your left as you enter. Defeat her without too much trouble and rope her.

Upgrade Priorities:

  • Combat ability
  • If on hard mode, upgrade her second skill first.
  • Physical and magic resistance
  • Never aquire resistance strenght. They don't stack and will be wasted if you have two people with the same strenght.

Sidenote: You must H her first to unlock the others.

Maid-san / メイドさん[]

Maid-san

(c)アリスソフト

The first healer you'll ever see, and will probably stick with you for a good while. Her combat ability will give a small edge in battle, and her HP Regen bonuses are nice, but generally not enough. Since she lacks Healing 3, you'll eventually replace her most probably.

Starting Level: 1.

Attacks:

  • ヒーリング1 / ヒーリング2
Uses: 8.
Comments: Restores some HP.
Upgraded Comments: Restores some more HP.
  • メイド切り / メイド切り改
Uses: 5.
Comments: Physical attack, and gives you a HP Regen bonus of 1%.
Upgraded Comments: Stronger than its standard counterpart.

Combat Ability: Attack Gift.

Increases your Attack at the start of a battle by 2%.

Field Ability: Poison Immunity.

Allows you to walk over poison pools without taking damage.

Resistances: Normal.

Obtained where?

From the start of the dungeon, go right to a farm-like place. Watch two events and then you'll be able to fight her. Defeat and rope her.

Upgrade Priorities:

  • Upgrade her Healing.

Yamorin / やもりん[]

Yamorin

(c)アリスソフト

A standard fighter that you'll probably keep with you for a good while due to her Mushroom Immunity.

Starting Level: 2.

Attacks:

  • キック / 連続キック
Uses: 7.
Comments: A standard physical attack.
Upgraded Comments: Stronger physical attack.
  • ハイキック / SPハイキック
Uses: 3.
Comments: A strong physical attack. Has the highest damage cap of the game so if she is fed with stats, she will deal a lot of damage.
Upgraded Comments: Even stronger.

Combat Ability: Recovery Gift.

Restores a small amount of HP every round.

Field Ability: Mushroom Immunity.

Allows you to step on Mushrooms without losing party members.

Resistances: Weak to Ice and Light.

Obtained where?

First, you must have KyanKyan and Maid-san with you. Walk through the two poison pools around the farmhouse where you got Maid-san, then you'll run into some mushrooms. You will lose both Girl Monsters before reaching her, but an event with Kira will restore them. Fight her and rope her.

Upgrade Priorities:

  • You might want to normalize her resistances, otherwise, focus on attacks.

Dungeon 2 (Statue of Freedom) Girl Monsters[]

Sketch / スケッチ[]

Sketch

(c)アリスソフト

Not the greatest of warriors, but her Combat and Field abilities are fairly nice. Plus, if she's with you when you have lunch inside a dungeon, she will draw a dog that you will eventually fight as an enemy in that dungeon, giving a very large amount EXP.

Note: She should not be in the same party as Sexy Knight as her 2nd skill may occur as an interrupt and reduce the attack power to 50%

Starting Level: 4.

Attacks:

  • Bえんぴつ攻撃 / Hえんぴつ攻撃
Uses: 9.
Comments: Simple physical attack, plus gives an Attack bonus.
Upgraded Comments: Stronger version of the above.
  • 攻撃付与1 / 攻撃付与2
Uses: 4.
Comments: Gives you an Attack bonus of 5%.
Upgraded Comments: Gives you an Attack bonus of 10%.

Combat Ability: Combat Intelligence.

Scans the enemy for weaknesses.

Field Ability: Scout Eyes.

Displays foraging points on the map.

Resistances: Weak to Fire.

Obtained where?

Once you encounter the enemy with 8000 HP on the far-right side of the dungeon, Sketch will either appear as a random encounter or also as an event around the right sector.

Upgrade Priorities:

  • Her second skill first. Once you use it once per battle for 4 battles, you'll have a nice 40% boost to physical damage until you leave the dungeon. With a bit of luck, she'll use it by herself once so you'll get a 50% boost.

Sexy Knight / セクシーナイト[]

SexyKnight

(c)アリスソフト

A pretty nice fighter, whose second skill is next to incredible. She can be great with boss when teamed up with someone like Kotodama or someone with high strengh, but because she has ice and thunder weakness along with an average first attack she may be hard to level. Don't put her in the same party as Sketch or Valkyrie as Sketch's second skill will reduce the bonus to 50% and Valkyrie's first skill with reset it (oddly enough, Sketch's first skill doesn't reduces the bonus).

On hard mode, you won't be using her that often. If you want to deal with bosses, generally you'll be better off using Kameko or Cho-Chin. There are a few exceptions however, such as against healers. Her biggest problem is the same one she had in normal mode. She's annoying to level because except against bosses, she's sub-par.

Starting Level: 4.

Attacks:

  • 剣で攻撃 / 火炎切り
Uses: 8.
Comments: Physical attack.
Upgraded Comments: Physical attack with Fire properties.
  • 背水の陣 / 背水の陣2
Uses: 2.
Comments: Removes all buffs before raises your Attack power by 200%. The attack buff will disappear at the end of the fight.
Upgraded Comments: Raises your Attack power by 300%.

Combat Ability: Money Happines.

Increases the amount of money received from enemies.

Field Ability: Wall Breaker.

Capable of breaking down crippled walls.

Resistances: Weak to Ice and Thunder.

Obtained where?

Go around the dark areas of the dungeon and she'll eventually show up. You can fight her, but in order to be able to rope her, you need to use one of the bombs with a sparkle in them (can be found foraging around the right side or creating some with Kusushi). Defeat and hope you rope her in your first try, otherwise you'll need more bombs.

Upgrade Priorities:

  • Her second attack.
  • Resistances
  • If you ever intend on doing hard mode, evade all the way. She is very useful against the thunder knight in Ika's palace when combined with Valkyrie.

Sour / サワー[]

Sour

(c)アリスソフト

The first mage you'll ever see. Her skills aren't the best, and her Combat Ability is decent especially if you have other mages. She starts of weak, but will probably end up being one of your best mages/characters on normal. If you give her some time to gain bonuses from her combat ability or from someone else, she'll be able to one-shot a number of enemies on normal mode. At noon there is a low chance you will receive 5 coal for having her in your party. Also note that all magic users never miss.

Starting Level: 4.

Attacks:

  • 炎の矢 / ファイヤーレーザー
Uses: 5.
Comments: Magical attack with Fire property.
Upgraded Comments: Stronger than the standard counterpart.
  • 雷の矢 / ライトニングレーザー
Uses: 5.
Comments: Magical attack with Thunder property.
Upgraded Comments: Stronger than the standard counterpart.

Combat Ability: Magic Gift.

Increases your Magic Power at the start of a battle by 2%.

Field Ability: Avoid Surprise Attacks. Avoid trap doors.

Makes it so enemies won't get to attack you first.
Allows you to pass over trap doors.

Resistances: Strong to Fire and Thunder. Weak to Light and Dark.

Obtained where?

Every time you take one of the 'automatic' roads along the sides of the dungeon, she will show up and fight you, only to run away almost immediately. After the 4th visit (unless you are on a new game+ and you managed to defeat and rope her; note she has 8 hearts), Valkyrie will appear and make her join you.

Upgrade Priorities:

  • Both her magic attacks and Combat abilities. Then her weaknesses.

Dungeon 3 (Cliff) Girl Monsters[]

Yama no Sachi / 山のサチ[]

YamanoSachi

(c)アリスソフト

She's a standard fighter with a generally useless second skill. In the long run however, she can become quite the powerhouse, especially if the enemy is weak to Light. (On a personal note, she's my favorite girl for some reason.)

Starting Level: 8.

Attacks:

  • 光の斧 / 光の斧連撃
Uses: 8.
Comments: Physical attack with Light property, plus gives an Accuracy bonus.
Upgraded Comments: Stronger than before.
  • 命中付与 / 命中付与2
Uses: 3.
Comments: Raises your Accuracy by 10%.
Upgraded Comments: Raises your Accuracy by 20%.

Combat Ability: Magic Gift.

Increases your Magic Power at the start of a battle.

Field Ability: Mushroom Immunity.

Allows you to step on Mushrooms without losing party members.

Resistances: Strong to Dark.

Obtained where?

Found in the green, south-west corner of the map. First, defeat the guys with the magnets until Plupet appears right before the entrance into the green area. Buy the piece of paper that has the 7 on it (500G) and then step into the green area. People say to use a Spray Can to aviod random encounters as you move north-west to find her around the corner, defeat and rope her.

Note: If you're playing in the Hard Mode (either A or B), there will be nothing in the shop. To buy the 7-Paper, you have to defeat some more guys with the magnets. After that, visit the deck and Plupet's shop will appear there.

I'm not quite sure why some suggest the Spray Can (As I was once able to get to her even after some encounters), but just take the safe route and do it that way.

You only have to avoid the encounter points in the jungle. There are mushrooms that also block you as well as the monsters. This is accomplished by a spray past the encounter point, using Yamorin, or the anti-fungus spray to walk over the mushrooms.

Upgrade Priorities:

  • First attack.

Kameko / カメ子[]

KameKo

(c)アリスソフト

"Turtle Child" if you wonder. She has highest HP and physical resistance in the game but a weakness to fire and darkness. Due to her very useful field ability and high defense, you should probably keep her in your main party for most of the game. Her second ability is almost godly against bosses, especially if you give her items that increase her damage cap(hard mode only). Her combat ability is nearly useless.

Starting Level: 8.

Attacks:

  • カメっ子パンチ / 怒りカメ
Uses: 8.
Comments: Physical attack with Fire property. Gives you a Defense bonus.
Upgraded Comments: Stronger version.
  • 物理カウンター / 物理カウンター2
Uses: 2.
Comments: Reflects the next Physical attack to the enemy.
Upgraded Comments: Same as above, just a higher return. Extremely useful considering the majority of bosses are physical.

Combat Ability: Regen Gift

Restores a small amount of HP every round.

Field Ability: Collector

Able to harvest more items from random foraging points.

Resistances: Weak to Fire and Dark.

Obtained where?

Found in the south-east corner of the dungeon. There are two ways to approach her, from the south and from the west. Approach her from the west (you need to break down a wall for this), defeat her and before you get to rope her, she will run away to the east into a dead-end. Fight her again and you should be able to rope her this time.

Upgrade Priorities:

  • Her second skill if on hard mode.

Konte / コンテ[]

Konte

(c)アリスソフト

A spirit like girl. She uses dark type attacks and her second skill can read the mind of enemies. It's useful when upgraded as it shows their statistics. She's mostly useless except for the fact that she has 70% physical resist.

Starting Level: 8.

Attacks:

  • アンコク / チョウアンコク
Uses: 9.
Comments: Magical attack with dark property. Gives a bonus to Magic Power.
Upgraded Comments: Just stronger.
  • リーダー / 千里眼
Uses: 15.
Comments: Reads the mind of the enemy. (Read: Worthless.)
Upgraded Comments: Scans the enemy's HP, weaknesses, etc.

Combat Ability: Status Effect Immunity

Makes you immune to all status effects.

Field Ability: Poison Immunity. Avoid trap doors.

Allows you to walk over poison pools without taking damage.
Allows you to walk over trap doors.

Resistances: Weak to Light.

Obtained where?

  1. Go into the graveyard and try to reach the end. You will lose characters while in here (and you can't avoid it), how many depend on your path (I've ALWAYS lost at least one). Reach the end to fight her.
  2. Go into the graveyard and using Kyan Kyan's M Search ability has a randomly chance to force her out, This way you won't lose your team members.
  3. When you defeat her, you won't be able to rope her. Leave the dungeon and talk to Kusushi who will allow you to make a new, third kind of rope. Make one or two and go back to fight her, using this new rope.

Upgrade Priorities:

  • Well, you can upgrade her 2nd attack to make it at least useful...

Dungeon 4 (Pyramid) Girl Monsters[]

Cho-Chin / ちょーちん[]

Chouchin

(c)アリスソフト

You could call her a magical tank, if only because of her magical counter. She also has avoid surprise attacks and defense gift, helping you survive. She's useless in normal mode, but a above average in hard mode. You should give her a few damage cap items in hard mode.

Starting Level: 12.

Attacks:

  • 光の矢 / グレイトライト
Uses: 10.
Comments: Magical attack with Light property. Gives a bonus to Magic Defense.
Upgraded Comments: Stronger than above.
  • MGカウンター / MGカウンター2
Uses: 2.
Comments: Reflects the next Magical attack to the enemy.
Upgraded Comments: Higher return than before.

Combat Ability: Defense Gift.

Increases your Defense at the start of a battle.

Field Ability: Avoid Surprise Attacks.

Makes it so enemies won't get to attack you first.

Resistances: Strong to Light. Weak to Dark.

Obtained where?

As you begin, take the first set of stairs to your right and go up to see an event with her. Eventually, you'll get to see a scene of her being tortured. Once that's through, she will appear as a random encounter. Defeat and rope her.

Upgrade Priorities:

  • Second ability.
  • Remove weaknesses
  • Physical and magical weaknesses

Frozen / フローズン[]

Frozen

(c)アリスソフト

Similar to Sour in that she is a magical Girl Monster, just deeply attached to Ice. She cannot enter the Volcano dungeon and will leaves the active party when you take her there.

Starting Level: 12.

Attacks:

  • 氷雪吹雪 / シベリア
Uses: 5.
Comments: Magical attack with Ice property.
Upgraded Comments: Stronger version.
  • Sレーザー / スノーレーザー
Uses: 3.
Comments: A stronger Magical attack with Ice property.
Upgraded Comments: Even stronger version.

Combat Ability: Recovery Gift.

Restores a small amount of HP every round.

Field Ability: M Search.

Press the M key to get into a random battle.

Resistances: Strong to Ice. Weak to Frre.

Obtained where?

You can encounter her randomly during the dungeon, but I suggest you simply run away, as you won't be able to rope her just yet.

Once you get past the third mirror and find her dog, then you will be able to capture her. She can either show up in a random encounter, or in an event in a room inside the third mirror area.

Upgrade Priorities:

  • None come to mind.

Nekomatamata / ねこまたまた[]

Nekomatamata

(c)アリスソフト

She would just your standard fighter, but her second ability is a Godsend. As a note, she will run away several times, the first time she will return by herself eventually. The second time (after you get her ready for the first H-scene), you will get an event of her alone in the first dungeon, at which time you must go and rescue here (It's also an H-scene, so plan accordingly). Plus, admit it, the way she shows up for the first time is just awesome. Licking her bloodied nails with a floor full of Bill Gates...

Starting Level: 12.

Attacks:

  • 引っ掻いた / 引っ掻いた2
Uses: 10.
Comments: Physical attack with Thunder property. High critical rate.
Upgraded Comments: Stronger version.
  • 応援 / 応援応援
Uses: 3.
Comments: Increases the number of attacks of your other Girl Monsters by 1.
Upgraded Comments: Same as above, but gives 2 uses instead of 1.

Combat Ability: Combat Intelligence.

Scans the enemy for weaknesses.

Field Ability: Mushroom Immunity.

Allows you to step on Mushrooms without losing party members.

Resistances: Weak to Ice and Light.

Obtained where?

After you go through the second mirror, you'll trigger an event with her. She will then show as a random encounter. Defeat and rope her.

Upgrade Priorities:

  • Her second attack.
  • Remove weaknesses
  • Physical and magical resistances

Dungeon 5 (Beach) Girl Monsters[]

Chappu Chappu / ちゃぷ ちゃぷ[]

ChappuChappu

(c)アリスソフト

Honestly, she gives me the creeps. Plus, she's also suicidal to boot. However, she's one of the only three Girls who allows you to go underwater (one being a pain to get and not necessary, the other is sort of risky), so you will HAVE TO use her. She has pretty low strength for a fighter though but her second skill is very devastating. Try to raise her strength through items or equipments. Also have Nekomatamata give more usage of her second skill.

Starting Level: 16.

Attacks:

  • 硫酸水 / 濃い硫酸水
Uses: 10.
Comments: Physical attack with Ice property. You won't deal much damage with this skill.
Upgraded Comments: Stronger version. Also lacking due to her low strength
  • 津波 / 57年津波
Uses: 2.
Comments: Strong Physical attack with Ice property, but also hurts your team. Has a wide damage range but very powerful. Note that if you finish the enemy with this skill, you will not suffer from the repercussion
Upgraded Comments: Stronger version. Extremely powerful but watch your HP.

Combat Ability: Status Effect Immunity

Makes you immune to all status effects.

Field Ability: Underwater Movement.

Allows you to move underwater.

Resistances: Weak to Fire and Thunder.

Obtained where?

She's right at the entrance. HOWEVER, she won't fight you unless you have less than 50% of your max HP. If you fail to rope her sucessfully, she will become a random encounter.

To get your HP down to half without problems, just bring no food with you, which will drop you to 50% after 12 PM.

Upgrade Priorities: Her second attack. Her combat ability.

Zukappa / ズかっぱ[]

Zukappa

(c)アリスソフト

Your second healer and a swimmer as well. Her second attack is rather weak, but once upgraded, it can be an insta-KO skill. Overall an ok character. She would be great if Sulfur didn't exist.

Starting Level: 16.

Attacks:

  • ヒーリング2 / ヒーリング3
Uses: 5.
Comments: Restores your HP by a fair amount.
Upgraded Comments: Restores even more HP.
  • 葉っぱビンタ / しりこだま
Uses: 8.
Comments: Physical attack with Light property.
Upgraded Comments: Actually weaker in terms of damage but has a roughly 80% to cause instant death. Unfortunately it also only has a ~80% chance to hit. A seemly iffy upgrade but you aren't using Zukappa for damage anyhow.

Combat Ability: Combat Intelligence,

Scans the enemy for weaknesses.

Field Ability: Underwater Momvement.

Allows you to move underwater.

Resistances: Weak to Thunder.

Obtained where?

Wait until it's Night and she'll appear as an event on the left side, right near the first boat you can take. Afterwards, she will appear as a random encounter. If it gets TOO late, I suggest you give up or you might very well be digging your own grave.

Upgrade Priorities:

  • Healing 2 to Healing 3.

Umi no Sachi / 海のサチ[]

UminoSachi

(c)アリスソフト

She's cute if you ask me. She's kind of a secret character, as you don't have to get her and yet not jeopardize your game by having Elina capture her and giving you a game over. Her first attack (You just can't say no to her "Osakana Sooodo~~!" now can you?) once upgraded will give you a small bonus for all six categories though. Otherwise, she's nothing too impressive. (Also a bit of note she is the only char i found that actually increases her stat when she is sick. Her stat went up round 50%)

Starting Level: 16.

Attacks:

  • おさかなソード / 魚類万歳
Uses: 6.
Comments: Physical attack. Horrible accuracy though.
Upgraded Comments: Physical attack and standard accuracy. Gives you a slight bonus to all stats.
  • 魔法付与 / 魔法付与2
Uses: 5.
Comments: Gives you a bonus to Magic Power.
Upgraded Comments: Stronger version.

Combat Ability: Magic Gift.

Increases your Magic Power at the start of a battle.

Field Ability: Underwater Movement.

Allows you to move underwater.

Resistances: Strong to Ice and Dark.

Obtained where?

In the underwater area of the dungeon, go to the far north-west to see the lower entrance to the temple. The trick here is that you need four Girl Monsters in child form with you to enter (actively in your party I mean). You can make use of the 'Kindergarden Hats' (The orange ones that look like construction helmets) to keep a Girl in child form, or get three girls ready for an H-scene plus Nekomatamata. H them one after the other and make sure you also get Nekomatamata (effectively H'ing two girls on the same day) so you get all four, though this takes some planning ahead and spare days. And of course, remember you need Zukappa or ChappuChappu as child to be able to swim.

Once that's done, go inside. Once you are in front of Umi no Sachi, you can dismiss your child Girls if you have grown up Girls in your party resting to fight her without too much trouble. Defeat and rope her.

Upgrade Priorities:

  • Her first attack.

Dungeon 6 (Foggy Forest) Girl Monsters[]

Hebi-san / へびさん[]

Hebi-san

(c)アリスソフト

Interesting quirk with her. If she's actively in your party and you encounter one of those eyeball enemies (I call them Beholders), they will sacrifice themselves to give their "queen" more exp (this effect won't work while she is in child form). Otherwise, she's pretty generic.

Starting Level: 20.

Attacks:

  • 噛みつき / 噛みつき2
Uses: 9.
Comments: Physical attack with Thunder property. Gives an Attack bonus. Chance to stun.
Upgraded Comments: Stronger version. High chance of stun.
  • 魔法付与 / 魔法付与2
Uses: 3.
Comments: Gives you a Magic Defense bonus.
Upgraded Comments: Stronger version.

Combat Ability: Defense Gift.

Increases your Defense at the start of a battle.

Field Ability: M Search.

Press the M key to get into a random battle.

Resistances: Strong to Thunder. Weak to Fire.

Obtained where?

She will first appear as a random encounter, but you won't be able to rope her. Eventually, an event will appear at the end of a long, winding tunnel along the north-east section of the dungeon. After the event involving her, Elina and 女殺し (The flying weird baby), she will be capturable.

Upgrade Priorities:

  • None come to mind.

Kotodama / 言霊[]

Itamashii

(c)アリスソフト

A generic fighter that turns into an amazing fighter if you upgrade her first attack. Good for getting extra cash and for killing Hannys when you are hunting them. Plus, her voice bothers me... Or at least, her singing attacks. For some reason, Her spirit drop is fetched at exorbitant price among all Gal's spirits.

Starting Level: 20.

Attacks:

  • 愛の歌 / 激愛の歌
Uses: 8.
Comments: Physical attack with Dark property that might paralyze. Deals 8x damage to Hannys.
Upgraded Comments: Notably stronger but just enough to put it in the subpar quality. 80% chance of paralyze.
  • 解除無効 / 解除無効X
Uses: 5.
Comments: Gives a good percentage to block debuffing from enemies.
Upgraded Comments: Even higher chance.

Combat Ability: Money Happiness.

Increases the amount of money received from enemies by 50%.

Field Ability: Scout Eyes.

Displays enemies and foraging points on the map.

Resistances: Weak to Thunder.

Obtained where?

To be sure, find a poster of her lying around the dungeon. Then ho through the cave in the western part of the dungeon (Note you will take damage with every step here). Once you reach the other side of the forest, you will see her. Defeat and rope her.

Upgrade Priorities:

  • Her first skill if you ever plan on using her. 80% chance to paralyze and 5000+ damage to hannys is very good.
  • Remove thunder weakness

Magician / まじしゃん[]

Magician

(c)アリスソフト

Another standard mage, but with a nice combat and field ability. If combined with someone with M Search and someone who can avoid surprise attacks, you can raise all of your stats quickly. This can be useful since the boss in her area in hard mode can be pretty hard.

Starting Level: 20.

Attacks:

  • 火爆破 / ファイヤーレーザー
Uses: 6.
Comments: Magical attack with Fire property.
Upgraded Comments: Stronger version. Oddly enough she copied this move from Sour.
  • グレイトライト / 白色破壊光線
Uses: 2.
Comments: Magical attack with Light property. Almost the same spell as Chouchin's upgraded attack except with a lower damage cap.
Upgraded Comments: Stronger version.

Combat Ability: Full Gift.

Increases all Stats except auto-regen by 2% at the start of a battle. Auto-regen is increased by 1%.

Field Ability: Collector

Able to harvest more items from random foraging points.

Resistances: Weak to Thunder.

Obtained where?

You will get three random events first of her 'stalking' Leo. Afterwards, she will attack you. If you fail to rope her, she will retreat to a random spot in the forest, so look for any heart events and finish roping her.

Upgrade Priorities:

  • Get her Combat Ability
  • Remove thunder weakness
  • Physical and magical bonuses

Hazure Onna / はずれ女[]

Capture;

WARNING

It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED not to capture her as she will force herself into your party, kicking one member out and weakening your team with her horrible stats and weaknesses.. Her HP is the lowest of the game, is weak to everything, and her skills doesn't do anything at all.

Starting Level: 20.

Attacks:

  • SEX / G-SEX
Uses: 99.
Comments: Does nothing at all.
Upgraded Comments: Same.
  • SEX / X-SEX
Uses: 99.
Comments: Does nothing at all.
Upgraded Comments: Same.

Combat Ability: Money Happiness.

Increases the amount of money received from enemies.

Field Ability: None

Resistances: Weak to Fire, Ice, Thunder, Light, Darkness.

Obtained where?

At the north part of the dungeon, beyond the plant monster. There is a star event which Kira warns you about her before opening the passage to a heart event. Capture at your risk.

Upgrade Priorities: Strictly all elementals, but you shouldn't be investing time at her at all. If you want a full elemental resistance, use KyanKyan instead. It's just best to turn her into a child and put a Kindergarten Hat on her since she won't jump into your party as a child. Her DADDY? DADDY! sound is just plain annoying.

Dungeon 7 (Great Wall) Girl Monsters[]

Tokko-chan / とっこーちゃん[]

Obtained where?

Fight her around three events inside the dungeon. Defeat and rope her in the last one.

Upgrade Priorities:

  • None come to mind.

Harimao / はりまおー[]

Harimao

(c)アリスソフト

Probably the best healer in the game. At 8pm she will remove sickness from all of your female monsters free of charge. She must be in your active party for this to work.

Starting Level: 24.

Attacks:

  • ヒーリング2 / ヒーリング3
Uses: 8.
Comments: Recovers a good amount of HP.
Upgraded Comments: Recovers even more HP.

Upgrade Priorities:

  • Healing 2 to Healing 3.
  • Possibly her second attack.

Sulphur / サルファ[]

Sulphur

(c)アリスソフト

Probably the best character in the game. Her first attack is nearly useless, but her second attack is godly when combined with Nekomatamata and +skill use items. Using her properly will probably make every single other character almost useless for dungeon exploring. The only things she won't one-shot are bosses and hannys.

Starting Level: 24.

Attacks:

  • 攻撃 / すばやい攻撃
Uses: 10.
Comments: Physical attack with Darkness property.
Upgraded Comments: Stronger version.
  • 急所狙い / 暗殺
Uses: 3.
Comments: Physical attack. Might insta-KO the enemy. It does slightly less damage than her first attack.

Combat Ability: Combat Intelligence.

Scans the enemy for weaknesses.

Field Ability: Scout Eyes.

Displays enemies and foraging points on the map.

Resistances: Strong to Fire.

Obtained where?

Inside a house around the south-east area of the dungeon. Defeat and rope her.

Upgrade Priorities:

  • Her second attack.

Dungeon 8 (Volcano) Girl Monsters[]

Valkyrie / バルキリー[]

Valkyrie

(c)アリスソフト

A good fighter overall. But if you use Sexy Knight a lot, I suggest you stay clear, because if you trigger Sexy Knight's second skill and Valkyrie uses her first one, you can say goodbye to your Attack bonus. Do note her 99% evasion.

She is a unique fighter in that her second skill bypasses defense.

Starting Level: 30.

Attacks:

  • 手刀 / 破鉄手刀
Uses: 5.
Comments: Physical attack. Gives a bonus to Attack Power. One of the strongest first skill of the game
Upgraded Comments: Stronger version. Skill just as impressive.
  • 衝撃パンチ / 特大衝撃パンチ

Comments: Physical attack that ignores the enemy's defense.
Upgraded Comments: Stronger version.

Combat Ability: Status Effect Immunity.

Makes you immune to all status effects.

Field Ability: Avoid Surprise Attacks.

Makes it so enemies won't get to attack you first.

Resistances: Normal.

Obtained where?

At the start of the dungeon. Leave the passage you begin and go around your business, eventually, you should see her heart event pop back inside the tunnel. Alternatively, I believe she also fights you randomly.

Upgrade Priorities:

  • Her second skill
  • Evade so you can deal with the thunder knight boss.
  • Don't upgrade her first skill. It's useless to have it on her.

Kaminari Daikou / 雷太鼓[]

KaminariDaikou

(c)アリスソフト

"Thunder Drum" if you wonder. She's basically a mage that likes Thunder too much, but her paralyzing probabilities are of some use. She also annoys you through a good deal of the game...

Starting Level: 30.

Attacks:

  • 雷撃 / 電気ショック
Uses: 8.
Comments: Magical attack with Thunder property. Might paralyze.
Upgraded Comments: Stronger version.
  • Lレーザー / メタルライン
Uses: 2.
Comments: Magical attack with Thunder property.
Upgraded Comments: Stronger version.

Combat Ability: Status Effect Immunity.

Makes you immune to all status effects.

Field Ability: M Search.

Press the M key to get into a random battle.

Resistances: Strong against Thunder.

Obtained where?

Disable the red stars in the dungeon. One in the south-west, the north-west and finally north-east.

You need a Wall Breaker for the first two and she will fight you at every spot, and on the last one she will join you.

Upgrade Priorities:

  • None come to mind.

Battle Note / バトルノート[]

BattleNote

(c)アリスソフト

The best status support character you can find. Her second skill is also a Godsend, plus she has a Combat Ability to support it. Her Field Ability is needed in the last dungeon. Plus, her clothes are just awesome. And there's something about her pink underwear... She's cute and awesome, period. It should be noted that auto-regen has a cap of 50% like all other buffs. If you get your auto-regen to 50% you'll be pretty godly. You should capture her after you capture Valkyrie. Make sure you use stealth sprays to safely reach her.

Starting Level: 30. Attacks:

  • 攻撃 / 攻撃2
Uses: 6.
Comments: Physical attack. A bit weak.
Upgraded Comments: Physical attack. Sub par.
  • 戦術指示 / 戦術指示2
Uses: 2.
Comments: Gives a 5% bonus to all stats. This includes auto-regen.
Upgraded Comments: Same as above, but a 10% bonus. This includes auto-regen.

Combat Ability: Full Gift. Increases all Stats at the start of a battle by 2%, except for auto-regen which increases by 1%.

Field Ability: Trap Immunity. Allows you to step on traps without losing party members.

Resistances: Normal.

Obtained where? Capture Kaminari Daikou and Valkyrie first, then go to the middle of the dungeon (Careful of the baby in the enemy encounters, I suggest you simply use Sprays around here). Defeat her. Keep in mind she regenerates 1000 HP per round during battle.

Upgrade Priorities:

  • Her second skill.
  • Her Combat Ability.

Extra 2nd Playthrough Characters[]

Rapunzel / Kaminaga-hime / 髪長姫[]

A very durable and devastating character. She has the second highest strength of the game and a large HP growth to go with it. As a bonus, she has resistance to all elements (not light or darkness). She is very straight-forward to play with in any dungeon.

Starting Level: 20.

Attacks:

  • ヘアーニードル
Uses: 5.
Comments: A standard attack with a high damage cap. The fact that her strength growth is phenomenal makes this move very damaging.
  • 髪縛
Uses: 2.
Comments: It deals the same amount of damage as ヘアーニードル except it has a higher damage cap and has a 70% chance of paralyzing.

Combat Ability: Exp Boost.

Increases experience gain by 50. This is not affected by experience multipliers.

Field Ability: Scout Eyes.

Displays foraging points on the map.

Resistances: Strong to Fire, Ice, and Thunder

Obtained where?

Random encounter in any dungeons or in Ike's Palace.

Upgrade Priorities: You cannot upgrade her unfortunately.

Death-ko / デス子[]

Both of her skills can deal major damage due to high strength and cause status effects. However she is woefully low in skill uses and have the second lowest HP of the game. Because of her inadequate skill uses, she's better to serve as a skirmisher with Nekamatamanta's second skill to keep her skills up.

Starting Level: 20.

Attacks:

  • 死神の鎌
Uses: 3.
Comments: A standard attack with a high damage cap. The fact that her strength growth is phenomenal makes this move very damaging. It also has a 50% chance to paralyze.
  • 魂抜き
Uses: 2.
Comments: This moves deals a bit less damage than her first but has an 80% chance of instant death.

Combat Ability: Exp Boost.

Increases experience gain by 50. This is not affected by experience multipliers.

Field Ability: Mushroom Immunity.

Allows you to step on Mushrooms without losing party members.

Field Ability: Scout Eyes.

Displays foraging points on the map.
Note: Her Field Ability will change from Mushroom Immunity to Scout Eyes at some point for some reason. I think it may be when you H her.

Resistances: Strong to Fire, Ice, and Darkness. Weak to Light.

Obtained where?

Random encounter in any dungeons or in Ike's Palace.

Upgrade Priorities: You cannot upgrade her unfortunately.

Kamikaze / 神風[]

She has the highest strength of the game and great HP as well. Place the strength percentage items on her right away. A great character to use with Sexy Knight's second skill.

Starting Level: 20.

Attacks:

  • 光の矢
Uses: 4.
Comments: A standard light based attack but Kamikaze's natural strength allows it to deal a lot of damage. Has a 20% chance to paralyze.
  • 闇の矢
Uses: 4.
Comments: It's the same attack but of darkness instead.

Combat Ability: Exp Boost.

Increases experience gain by 50. This is not affected by experience multipliers.

Field Ability: Scout Eyes.

Displays foraging points on the map.

Resistances: Strong to Fire

Obtained where?

Random encounter in any dungeons or in Ike's Palace.

Upgrade Priorities: You cannot upgrade her unfortunately.
