Kawanoe Mine is the sister of Kawanoe Yuzuru and is also a founding member of the Takuga House.

Personal History

She grew up in a poor family that decided to sell her and keep Yuzuru to become head the family. He gouged out his left eye so that his sister didn't have to be sold and was banished to Shikoku, or the Death Country, where outcasts were put. Mine decided to amputate her left arm so that she could join him. He was angry about her doing that but eventually reconciled. While in Shikoku, she prostituted herself in exchange for food to feed the children until the men gave food to the children of their own volition. After creating Takuga with Sakamoto Ryouma, they managed to get less hostile land for the outcasts, until Rance conquered it. If the player chose to turn Ryouma into a male after removing his curse, they become a pair.
