Kawanoe Yuzuru is the brother of Kawanoe Mine and is also a founding member of the Takuga House.

Personal HistoryEdit

While Yuzuru was growing up, his poor family decided to sell their daughter, Mine, and keep their son Yuzuru to become head of the family. To stop them from selling her, he decided to gouge out his left eye and because of that, was sent to Shikoku, or the Death Country, where outcasts were put. Mine decided to amputate her left arm to be able to stay with him. Eventually they met up in Shikoku and Yuzuru was angry with her but eventually forgave her. After creating Takuga with Sakamoto Ryouma, they managed to get more inhabitable land for the outcasts, until Rance conquered it. If the player decided to turn Ryouma into a girl after removing her curse, the Ryouma and Yuzuru become a pair.
