The Green Corps in Kichikuou Rance.
The Leazas Green Corps is the personal military unit of Rance, the brutal king of Leazas. Because it is only formed after Rance becomes king of Leazas, it is exclusive to the game Kichikuou Rance and does not appear anywhere else in the series. It is made up of 1,000 of the strongest soldiers from each of the other four Leazas armies, and has an incredible amount of fighting power as a result. Unlike the four regular armies, it has no specialized purpose beyond being the personal unit of the king, giving Rance the freedom to do whatever he wants with it.
Due to his personality, Rance is naturally cruel to his soldiers and treats them as entirely expendable, making them do absurd amounts of grunt work to accomplish his own petty ambitions. Since Rance is their king, the soldiers have no choice but to follow him in fear and keep their objections to themselves to avoid punishment.
As Rance isn't a particularly talented military leader, the army isn't as excellent as it could be, and lacks any real talents besides being strong. However, as it is composed of powerful and disciplined warriors it is still capable of fighting effectively despite its lack of leadership, and Rance himself possesses an amazing amount of individual combat ability, making it an exceptional unit despite its flaws.
