Magic-basis
Magic is the art of focusing your body and mind in order to channel paranormal forces through your own body. Learning Magic is no easy task, but almost anyone with the qualities can learn to use it, ideally a mage would begin learning the fundamentals from the age of three years old, any later development would be stunted. If you focus and devote yourself to your studies then the powers you can command are incredible.

The only limit is your Skill Level, which affects how easily you can grasp magical concepts and use magical forces. Another factor is your personal capacity for mana, some can command more magic abilities than others, this attribute is inherent and depends on the person. 

Most magic spells can be broken down into three main categories:

  • Offensive Magic
  • Support Magic
  • Intel Magic

The base effect of the spell you cast is always the same, but it varies in scale and power based on the person casting it. Mages typically pick one school of magic to invest in, but that doesn't mean they can't make use of spells from other schools should they need to.

Magic is by no means an infallible method of attack, depending on the mental fortitude of the foe, spells may do nothing. If a person was mentally strong enough and had enough conviction to deny magic itself, then all magic attacks directed towards that person would be negated. The only case known of someone capable of doing this is Dio Calmis.

Magic itself is a part of daily life on The Continent, magic items are prominently used by businesses or adventurers, and many families in Leazas have a Magicvision set in their homes to watch magically broadcast shows on.

Magic Skill LevelsEdit

Depending on your Magic Skill Level , you can use different tiers of magic spells.

For example, you can use rudimentary magic abilities at Magic Level 1, but at Magic Level 2 you could generate much more powerful spells, create small earthquakes or fire specialized magical beams at your enemy, and at Magic Level 3 you could manipulate space-time and control elements like they were second nature to you.

Offensive MagicEdit

There are five schools of offensive magic focused on every element: Fire, Ice, Lightning, Light and Darkness.

Water and Wind were magic schools in earlier games, but they were phased out and merged with others.

Proficiency in magic schools depends on the person, the Four Generals of Zeth are the masters of their individual elements.

Depending on your Skill Level in magic, you can use different and more powerful spells.

Fire SchoolEdit

Name Target Range Description
Fire Arrow One Unit Small flames shoot from the fingers of the caster and burn the enemy.
Fire Blast All Units Magic flames erupt from the ground below the enemy.
Small Fire Blast One Row Scaled-down Fire Blast, targets a single foe.
Conflagration All Units An enhanced Fire Blast, engulfs entire armies.
Hellfire Conflagration All Units A massive field of fire sweeps across the enemies.
Fire Laser One Unit The mage focuses both hands and launches a devastating flame.
Zetton All Units The mage focuses their entire body and burns an entire group of enemies with one trillion degrees of heat. An incredible fire attack, King Gandhi and Sayyth Cruwn know this spell.
Flame Particle Bullet All Units A fire spell so intense it usually takes two elite magic users to cast it. Exceptions to the rule include Level 3 magic users such as Hunty Kalar and the ultra powerful Okayu Fever known as Avatar.
Super Fire Arrow One Unit King Gandhi's unique Fire Arrow. Much stronger than the usual spell.
Super Fire Blast All Units King Gandhi's unique Fire Blast. Much stronger than the usual spell.
Revised Fire Laser Penetrating King Gandhi's unique Fire Laser. It seems to focus on burning through the enemy rather than simply burning.
Great Fireball All Units A fire spell cast by Dark Lord Noce .
Black Flame All Units Dark Lord Xavier's unique attack. The flames cannot be quelled.

Ice SchoolEdit

Name Target Range Description
Ice Arrow One Unit Small icicles shoot from the fingers of the caster and pierce the enemy.
White Cold Shock One Unit Icicles sprout from beneath the feet of the enemy and chill their bones. 
Ice Storm All Units A chilling storm of ice surrounds the enemy group, freezing them.
Siberia Ice All Units A variant of Ice Storm.
Snow Laser One Unit The mage focuses both hands and launches a frozen beam.
Hell Icicle One Unit An improved more powerful version of Snow Laser.
Absolute Zero All Units The mage focuses their entire body and causes a chilling wind so powerful that it freezes the enemies to death.
Revised Snow Laser Penetrating Dark Lord La Seizel's unique Snow Laser. It seems to focus on freezing through the enemy rather than simply freezing.
Mollusk Freeze All Units An ice spell specifically designed to deal with mollusk creatures.


Lightning SchoolEdit

Lightning Arrow One Unit Small sparks shoot from the fingers of the caster and zap the enemy.
Thunderstrike Penetrating A horizontal bolt of lightning.
Electroshock Penetrating An improved more powerful version of Thunderstrike.
Electromagnetic Barrier All Units A high-voltage electromagnetic barrier wraps around the enemy.
Electromagnetic Storm All Units A much larger and much more powerful Electromagnetic Barrier.
Lightning Laser One Unit The mage focuses both hands and lets loose a shocking wave.
Metal Line All Units An intense spell, the highest tier of regular Lightning Spells.
Thunder God Lightning All Units The special spell of Kavachahn the Lightning.


Light SchoolEdit

Light One Unit A small burst of light bursts from the fingers of the caster.
Great Light One Unit An improved more powerful version of Light.
Angel Cutter All Units Blades made of light fly forward and pierce the enemies.
Light Explosion All Units A magical blast of light hits the enemies, blinding and damaging them.
Light Spear One Unit A very flashy attack.
Light Beam All Units Blasts of light magic fly out and hit every enemy.
White Laser One Unit A magical laser of light.


Darkness SchoolEdit

Name Target Range Description
Darkness One Unit Dark energy and dancing shadows sprout from the fingers of the caster.
Greater Darkness One Unit An improved more powerful version of Darkness.
Black Impact One Unit Dark shadows engulf the area.
Black Wave All Units A powerful wave of darkness.
Dark Explosion All Units A magical blast of darkness hits the enemies, draining and damaging them.
Devil Beam All Units Blasts of dark magic fly out and hit every enemy.
Drain One Unit A dark spell that drains life and stamina from the foe.
Curse One Unit A dark curse that leeches health.


Destruction BeamsEdit

People with Level 2 Skill Levels in magic can take their fields even further and learn a Destruction Beam (or Breaker Wave), this kind of spell is considered extremely powerful and beyond the normal scope of magic attacks, as it takes an element to a critical level and transforms it into a turbulent blast of energy.

The mage holds out both hands and summons a penetrating sheet of light magic energy.

Black Destruction Beam Darkness Penetrating

The mage holds out both hands and summons a penetrating sheet of dark magic energy.

A Level 2 magic user can learn this with some difficulty, but it comes naturally to a Level 3.

Crimson Destruction Beam N/A Penetrating A unique Destruction Beam that takes a red color, performed by Apostle Garnet. It's weaker than the White or Black Destruction Beam. 
Indigo Destruction Beam N/A Penetrating A unique Destruction Beam that takes a blue color, performed by Apostle Sapphire. It's weaker than the White or Black Destruction Beam. 
Amber Destruction Beam N/A Penetrating A unique Destruction Beam that takes a yellow color, performed by Apostle Topaz. It's weaker than the White or Black Destruction Beam. 
Prismatic Destruction Beam N/A Penetrating A fusion of elements and colors. Not as powerful as the other destruction beams.
Squid Ink Destruction Beam Darkness Penetrating The unique attack of Baron Squid
