Well, it's a good point about Sheila I guess. I mostly decided to add those categories to link them in the continent page, since we had one for royals.
We really need to finish up some of these incomplete pages that have just been sitting around, i mean it only took like 2 ours to do Borg's page granted he's only in one game but still. I recommend that we start with either Papaya's page or Bird's page since their fairly done but not complete.
I'm on a period of end term exams and I'm not very active lately due to lack of time. When I'm free I will resume the work on the wiki like before, which is gonna be in a couple of weeks. I assume that Wiki Restoration is in a similar situation right now.
We have lives outside of the wiki, believe it or not. I'll be on a long term break in a few weeks, and then I'll be able to put in work more consistently. Same as Follow SRwikiAnon, more or less.
It's kind of shitty that the content output of the wiki has died down pretty sharply over the last few months, but you can't really do much about it. People get busy, and the number of active users on this wiki isn't even in the double digits, so of course there'll be some dry periods.
On the other hand, as the most active users on the site, one can hardly begrudge you much for the slightly... ostentatious title :) And as my name is a bit of a callback to my... more pompous days ( though also serves as a bit of a Miracle Tou reference ), I'm not well placed to comment^^
Sorry I haven't been active lately, I'd been distracted with, well work lately among others, with also recent events having made me unable to divide my attention è_è, so not really much time to actually write articles. I haven't forgotten about doing Mamatoto pages and hope to do at least a few this month :)
Also I should probably still add a few tidbits to Beat Blades, and when Rance V and VI get translated I'll probably try to do some for them as well.
My username derives from two Alicesoft mains, the term "Glorious" obviously coming from Rance's musical theme, and "Showoff" akin to Rouga, because he sort of gave off that feel throughout Daibanchou. Speaking of Rouga, I plan on fixing his lame stub page soon, espicially since I am about done with Kunagi's draft. Sadly however, after tinkering with SpoilerAL like the little cheater I am, Daibanchou completley shut down on me. I'm going to try and see if I can reinstall it, if I run into any other problems with it not starting, this may not benefit me, as a lot of my sources come from the Alt+S screenshots.
We seriously should have relationship pages and sections for people besides Rance and Rick, I mean we we talk about relationships in the personality and appearence sections and have a category for relationships now.
Abert doesn't interact with Sieg at all, he just eats his blood soul.
His "relationship" with Aurora can be boiled down to her not liking him because he isn't Sieg. They don't actually interact onscreen at all, either.
There are no real distinctions between his relationships with Papaya, Urza and Rizna since they all boiled down to him trying to "test" them. Even then, that has more to do with his personality in general than it does with his relationships with each individual girl.
His relationships with Rance, Kamilla and Daniel are the only ones really worth going into any detail on, and his page already does that. Without needing them to be split off.
I do think that some major characters will eventually need independent pages for their relationships, but Abert isn't one of them. It's also just not that high of a priority to make individual relationship pages, since most characters only have notable relationships with a handful of others and there's already so much other stuff that we still need to do.
The only other characters I can actually think of that really need one are Shizuka and Patton. Which isn't surprising because they're pretty much the only two other characters who have plots and relationships of their own driving the series to some extent.
Shizuka
- Rance, Her Parents, Ragarl, Nagi (pre and post IX), Maria, Mill and Eleanor, Raghiss, Ithere, Mysteria and maybe one or two others if you are already making the page
Patton
- His father, Sheila, Stessel, Pamela, his mother, Thoma, Hunty, Hubert, Freak, Rance, Noce and a whole bunch of Helman and Rance IX guys.
I guess if you really wanted to you could mount good arguments for Kanami and Lia as well.
Shizuka and Patton are the ones that I mainly had in mind for eventually getting their own pages. Even Lia and Kanami only have a few notable relationships.
Okay, done but the template has the restriction that it for it to be placed in the same location as the others, it has to have the Spoiler and Quotation templates, so add it only on pages that have those. If it doesn't have a Quote add "Quote-needed" instead.
The order for the templates is: Template:Spoilers-A/B/C, Template:Quote-needed, Template:Level-Cap-Icon, Template:Character(you have to add them between { }). I don't know what you do when you try to add templates but use the Classic Editor and swap to "Source". There's no way for you to accidentally move anything that way unless you do it on purpose.
I appreciate the good intention but the Navbox goes at the very bottom, below the Gallery. NOT above the trivia. If you are going to go through the effort of adding them, make sure to do it correctly. Now I have to edit all those pages.
That. Stop making pages about characters from games you didn't play. You are just adding more bulk for no reason, there's already hundreds of pages that need work, so don't add more, especially when you don't know about the characters you are making pages to.
Me or Wiki Restoration will eventually worked on them properly, and don't insist on them. I've deleted Jean's page and Bodu's page like 4 times already.
Seriously what about yuki's page all it said before i added on to it was that she is la seizal's apostle and don't get me started on steve's and agireda's pages.
