Mid Earth is one of the provinces of JAPAN. It is held by the Mori House, and hosts the giant gateway into Death Country.
Mid Earth is adjacent to Red Helmet, Izumo, Himeji, and Death Country.

- Mid Earth corresponds approximately to the Kibi Province (吉備国) of ancient Japan. By the time of the warring states era, the Kibi Province had been divided into Bingo Province (備後国), Bitchu Province (備中国), Mimasaka Province (美作国), and Bizen Province (備前国).
- The name "中っ国" is a pun on the Chugoku region (中国地方, meaning "middle country" region) and Tolkein's Middle Earth (中つ国, pronounced "Nakatsukuni"). The lands covered by Mid Earth corresponds to part of the Chugoku region of real-world Japan, and Tolkein's "Nakatsukuni" is modified very slightly ("tsu" becomes a slient break) to form the new name.
