Aki Hime is married to the head of Hara House due to a political marriage. Her husband, Hara Shouji loves her, though it appears that she doesn't share the same sentiment. She is extremely wasteful and demanding. Pretty much a typical princess born with a silver spoon in her mouth.
The historical Japanese sengoku samurai Sanada Yukimura has a wife who is known as "Aki", though the kanji is different (安岐) and there is no actual resemblance between the two.

Sengoku Rance Edit
Aki is first shown during the scene when Oda declared war against the Hara House. She demanded her husband to accept Oda's invitation despite the current situation of the Hara.
After Oda conquered Hara House, Hara Shouji asked Aki to commit suicide together, in order to avoid disgrace within a defeated family to fall upon her, though Aki strongly refused and eventually asked her husband to just divorce her. Aki's response caused Shouji to snap and attack her out of disappointment. Fortunately, Rance barges in to save the day, and is given the options to either "use her as a commander" or "take her home and fuck her".
If Rance chose the former, Akihime would appear as a miko unit in the troops list automatically.
If Rance chose the latter, He would take her home to H her. She wouldn't appear as a commander later on, but Rance gets +5 Satisfaction Points instead.
