Rance 2 - Rebelling maidens

This is a second game of the Alice Soft's Rance series.

Main characters

Rance - Travelling warrior and adventurer, taking any jobs "in the name of Justice" as he saying, of course only if well paid. Can't use magic and isn't very bright but very strong as a warrior, evil to the root and perverted. Have a dream of creating his own harem.

Sill - a slave of Rance, who helps him in his adventures as a partner in battlefield and in bed. She was kidnapped by bandits and then sold to Rance, since then she is traveling together with Rance. Is very weak in terms of strength but is good at magic. Even being treated pretty bad by Rance(who use her as baggage carrier, trap decoy and night partner) still has obvious feelings for him and ready to follow Rance wherever he goes.

Four sorceresses

Maria Custard - First maiden with cursed ring Rance meets, with blue hair and glasses. After her curse is broken she joins Rance in his quest to release her mates. Always angry at Rance that he is evil and perverted and can't act as a main hero.

Mile Yorks - A maiden in china dress and violet hair, youngest of all. Can summon monsters to help her.

Eleonora Ran - Redheaded sorceress who is responsible for abducting young girls from town. Lewd and cruel due to the ring's power but actually very shy and kind when curse removed from her.

Masou Shizuka - A leader of four, with green hair and witch's clothes, she is the only one who actually detected what magic rings were doing to them and tried to stop it. Tried to use ring's power to get revenge on Ragithis for killing her father.

Other characters

Ragithis - old mage, who trained four maidens. Dead at the beginning of the game but his ghost is still here and not going to give up.

Mily Yorks - Mile's older sister. A tough warrior and clamour girl. Gone to labirinth to save her sister but after her party was wiped out by hanies she joins Rance.

[edit] Story

Ten years ago in the town of Custard four young girls were appointed as disciples to old mage Ragithis. They were to be raised as mages and then to work as town's guardians. But after the ten years of training due to unknown reason girls rebelled against Ragithis and killed him. During the harsh magic battle a whole town were entombed in the underground and a barrier spell was put on town preventing everyone from going out.

This is when Rance appears with Sill on his side, and taking a job of defeating magician maidens and saving the town. But after some research he finds out that actual evil guy was Ragithis himself, who put four magical rings on four maidens. That rings are giving a great boost of magical power to it's bearers, but aslo able to steal magic power from virgin sorceresses and after collecting magic power of 40 maidens anyone could use these rings to obtain unlimited power. The leader of girls, Masou Shizuka, figured out Ragithis's plan and rebelled against him but it was too late - cursed rings could not be removed and the curse started to dive maidens crazy. Now they are sheltered in the labirinth beneath the town abducting young girls from the town and killing everyone who tried to go into the labirinth and stop them. It seems that the only way to release them from the curse of the rings is to steal a virginity from them, and the only man up to this job is Rance.
