The Holy Skeletal Fighting Marshal is a type of autonomous weapon created by the Holy Magic Church. They are created using the corpses of dead magic users, though the corpses just serve as a skeletal structure and medium for magic, and thus they are not considered zombies or undead, nor do they have souls. They are clothed in a pointy hood, and there are large magical spheres embedded in their shoulders. Their strength roughly reflects that of the original owner of the corpse. They use Holy Magic to attack.

While autonomous, they follow orders given by Fighting Gods. Most of them still faithfully carry out the most recent instruction they received given out near the end of the Demon War over five hundred years ago: to kill all "barbarians" (humans not belonging to the Holy Magic Church, which means everybody).

They are not technically "monsters", though for most general purposes they are considered as such, as most of the time they roam where other monsters are, and attack humans.

They are capable of self-repairation. Even if they are defeated in battle, after lying still for a few days, they can be up and running again, continuing to execute their orders.

They not only appear in games set in the World of Rance, but also other fantasy settings of Alice Soft games such as the Toushin Toshi series. (with unexplained backstory).

Trivia: most of their type names are named after individuals of Nazi Germany.
