FAQ

• A cleared character gives 2 points to the score, and gains 1 Affection whenever deployed with Rance (only one character can get +1 Affection this way from each battle). Their points are negated if they're missing from the roster at the end of the game. Named characters' clears are recorded in the Clear Game Report even if they're removed from the roster afterward. Among generic commanders, young girls—by appearance, age 15 to 29—can be character cleared (by raising them to Love). Male generic commanders may be character cleared after getting a sex-change in Morocco. However, male generic commanders on the Clear Game Report cannot be sex-changed.

• Unless stated otherwise, talking to a character increases his/her Affection by 1. (H scenes give no Affection boost.)

• When instructed to talk to a character, you're meant to trigger a purple event; wait a turn if there isn't one available. Do not waste time with colorless events. Certain events (e.g., Rizna, Uruza, and Magic's) may only be taken on the first command fan of a turn.

• Visiting Rance's room gives 1 Satisfaction point. Girls aren't randomly selected; the order is fixed.

• Requires Uesugi Kenshin.
• Send her (with low troop count) against Demon Army for a H scene. (Whether the battle is won does not matter.) However, she will be lost. Available in True History and Isoroku route after Kurohime releases the seals on Xavier.

柴田勝家 Shibata Katsuie Edit

• Conflicts with Ranmaru's character clear.
• There are optional events, which are available if he's at Trust before Ranmaru. Exercise caution; these events may lead to a game over.

2. Enter Kenshin or Ran route.
3. Talk to him before Kouhime becomes a commander. Pick the first option, which gives him 1000 troops.

玉籤風華 Tamagushi Fuuka Edit

4. Talk to him at 3 Trust to initiate the Hiragumo event.
5. Finish the Hiragumo event; find the generic archer Gumo Danjo (蜘蛛弾正), send Inukai for that battle, and then destroy Danjo's unit. The treasure Hiragumo will be obtained.
6. Talk to him to character clear.

鈴女 Suzume Edit

7. Complete the dungeon, and choose the second option. Tamagushi Fuuka will be lost.
8. Defeat Orochi.
9. Talk to her to get to Love.

1. Talk to her once.

沖田のぞみ Okita Nozomi Edit

• She's recruitable in Kyo after you let the Hannys pass through Owari. It'll take two events to recruit her.

3. Find the dungeon item, Ero-Candle. It drops randomly as Ogre Bones do.
4. Talk to her once. (Okita power up and Satisfaction +5)
5. Talk to her each Turn for four Turns. Each time, Rance will be exhausted, and unable to act for the rest of that Turn, so plan accordingly. Special events which reset all commanders, will recover Rance. The Orochi fight, which resets all captains at 20th floor is such an event. So it is possible to talk to Nozomi and have Rance exhaused. Then fight Orochi with Rance usable in fight. After defeating Orochi, Rance becomes not exhausted, and can talk to Nozomi again to be exhausted.  
6. Talk to her at 7 Trust to get to Love.

Hojo House Edit

北条早雲 Hojo Souun Edit

• Unmentioned events are optional.
• Talk to him at 7 Normal to get to Trust. This is optional.
• Has an optional event with Natori; and another with Sakamoto Ryouma and Kawanoe Yuzuru. Both raise Affection by 1.

1. Send him against Suzaku who will be killed.
2. Talk to him to character clear.

南条蘭 Nanjo Ran Edit

1. Talk to her once after conquering Hojo House.
2. Talk to her to get to Normal, and unlock Mamushi Oil Field's dungeon. (Satisfaction +5)
3. Enter her route, and then complete all her events. There are four H scenes, which respectively give 5, 3, 3, and 5 Satisfaction points.
4. Talk to her at 7 Normal to get to Trust. This is only possible after the H scene involving Keikoku, and before Souun leaves with Keikoku.
5. Talk to her at 7 Trust to get to Love.

大道寺小松 Daidouji Komatsu Edit

• She can be captured after Houjou Souun goes missing. If she's kept in prison long enough, an event will be available in Owari. It'll give +5 Satisfaction and send her to Rance's harem, after which she won't be recruitable anymore.

1. Talk to her once.
2. Talk to her at 7 Hostile to get to Normal.
3. Talk to her at 7 Normal to get to Trust.
4. Talk to her while there are no Yin-Yang/Diviners in the roster to get to Love.
5. Talk to her once to H her. (No Affection boost; Satisfaction +5)

Their final event can only be unlocked if Masamune is not on your commander list + completely conquered the One Eye house territory.

• Requires Kouhime and Sill.
• There are four optional events. Two deal with Hattori Hanzou (triggers if he's still part of Tokugawa House). Another deals with Sakakibara Yasumasa and Tokugawa Ieyasu which gives her +1 Affection. The last deals with Inukai and also gives her +1 Affection.

1. Talk to her at 7 Hostile to get to Normal.
2. Deploy Rance with her in a battle.
3. Talk to her at 7 Normal to get to Trust.
4. Deploy Rance with her in a battle. (Satisfaction +5, Yuzuhara Yuzumi Power Up)
5. Talk to her at 7 Trust to get to Love.

明石風丸 Akashi Kazemaru Edit

• During war with Akashi House, you must have lost three times against the Nuhes.

1. Search for Nuhe in Himeji.
2. Talk to him once.
3. Talk to him at 7 Normal to get to Trust.
4. Talk to him at 3 Trust. He'll gain Hibachi as sub-commander and +2 to all combat stats below 7.
5. Talk to him at 7 Trust.

坂本竜馬 Sakamoto Ryouma Edit

• Conflicts with Kawanoe Mine's character clear.
• Optional Event requires Kouhime and Kawanoe Yuzuru.
• There are three optional events if Gon, Mine, and Yuzuru are in prison.

1. Talk to him/her once.
2. Conquer Mouri House with Mouri Motonari's curse lifted. Then talk to him/her at 7 Normal to get to Trust. 
3. Talk to him/her once. (or twice, one with Yuzuru & Kouhime, and one with Kouhime alone - both give affection) (both are optional)
4. Talk to him/her at 7 Trust to unlock an event at Kazusa 2000.
5. Complete the event at Kazusa 2000. Make Ryouma become female.
6. Talk to her twice.
7. Talk to her to get to Love. (Satisfaction +5)

ゴン Gon Edit

• Conflicts with Kawanoe Mine's character clear.

• Yuzuru must not be character cleared yet.
• Some events not available after Ryouma is cleared.

1. Talk to him after Ryouma becomes female.
2. Talk to him after Akaheru's dungeon is discovered.
3. Complete (or re-complete) the dungeon without Gon deployed.

川之江譲 Kawanoe Yuzuru Edit

• Conflicts with Kawanoe Mine's character clear.

1. Talk to him once.
2. Talk to him at 7 Hostile to get to Normal.
3. Talk to him at 7 Normal to get to Trust. After giving her troops to Yuzuru, Ryouma will disappear from the roster. Ryouma must be female. (Acquires the skill Lover.)

川之江美禰 Kawanoe Mine Edit

• Conflicts with Sakamoto Ryouma's, Gon's, and Kawanoe Yuzuru's character clears.
• Requires Kawanoe Yuzuru.

1. Talk to her once.
2. Talk to her at 7 Normal to get to Trust. Requires cursed Sakamoto Ryouma.
3. Talk to her once. Sakamoto Ryouma must be male. (Satisfaction +5)
4. Talk to her at 7 Trust to get to Love. After giving his troops to Mine, Ryouma will disappear from the roster. (Acquires the skill Lover.)

Mouri House Edit

• H-ing all three Mouri sisters will unlock a foursome H scene. (Satisfaction +5)

毛利元就 Mouri Motonari Edit

• Requires Sill.

1. Talk to him once.
2. Talk to him at 5 or 6 Normal.
3. Talk to him at 7 Normal to get to Trust. He will become his cursed form, losing Commander Charge and all passive skills.

毛利てる Mouri Teru Edit

1. Talk to her at 7 Hostile to get to Normal.
2. Talk to her at 7 Normal to get to Trust.
3. Find the dungeon item, Hallucination of Death Medicine. It drops randomly as Ogre Bones do.
4. Talk to her at 7 Trust to get to Love. (Satisfaction +5)

• After clearing her, Hallucination of Death Medicine will continue to drop in dungeons. Talking to her while you have one will give an H scene (Satisfaction +1), which will pre-empt talking to her for affection power up.

吉川きく Kikkawa Kiku Edit

• She may be captured, before conquering Mouri House, by accepting Mouri Motonari's challenge.

1. Talk to her once before conquering Mouri House.
2. Talk to her at 7 Normal to get to Trust. Must be done before conquering Mori House.
3. Talk to her after conquering Mouri House for a H scene. (Satisfaction +5)
4. Talk to her at 7 Trust to get to Love.

小早川ちぬ Kobayakawa Chinu Edit

• Cannot be cleared in True History, Isoroku, or Kenshin routes.

1. Talk to her at 7 Normal to get to Trust (and unlock CG #51).
2. In Ran or Kill the Monkey routes, talk to her at 7 Trust to get to Love. (+5 Satisfaction)

山中子鹿 Yamanaka Kojika Edit

• You must see all events before conquering Mouri.
• In a Second+ game, do not choose the Mouri House bonus, or some scenes needed for her recruitment will never appear.

1. Talk to her once.
2. Talk to her at 7 Hostile to get to Normal.
3. Talk to her at 7 Normal to get to Trust.
4. Talk to her at 7 Trust to get to Love.

• He cannot be character cleared without Naoe Ai at Love. Otherwise, after giving her troops to Kazuhisa, she will disappear from the roster.

1. Talk to him at 7 Hostile to get to Normal.
2. Talk to him at 7 Normal to get to Trust.

島津トシヒサ Shimazu ToshihisaEdit

• He cannot be character cleared without Daidoji Komatsu at Love. Otherwise, after giving her troops to Toshihisa, she will disappear from the roster.

1. Talk to him at 7 Hostile to get to Normal.
2. Talk to him at 7 Normal to get to Trust.

島津イエヒサ Shimazu Iehisa Edit

• He cannot be character cleared without Senhime at Love, and without Ranmaru, whose second event must be seen. Otherwise, after giving her troops to Iehisa, Ranmaru will disappear from the roster.

1. Talk to him at 7 Hostile to get to Normal.
2. Talk to him at 7 Normal to get to Trust.

アギレダ Agireda Edit

• She can only be character cleared in True History route.
• There are two optional events to raise her army by 1000 in Amazon and Cairo.

1. Talk to her at 7 Normal to get to Trust.
2. Talk to her for a H scene after a Shimazu brother dies. If you're too fast with conquering, the event might not show up. (Satisfaction +5)
3. H her in Rance's room.
4. Talk to her once.
5. When she is the largest unit, talk to her to get to Love. (Instant level-up)
