Tamba is one of the provinces in JAPAN. It is under the control of the Tanegashima House.

It is adjacent to Izumo, Himeji, Naniwa, and Kyo.

For real world reference, see wikipedia:Tamba Province or wikipedia:ja:丹波国. The map on wikipedia shows its territory after the Tango Province (丹後国) has been cut away from it. The Tamba of Sengoku Rance's JAPAN includes the equivalent of Tango as well.
