Yamamoto Isoroku is the princess and the only survivor of the fallen Yamamoto house/clan. She is loyal, strong-willed, and dedicated. She appears to be very knowledgeable in archery and apparently is one of the best archers throughout JAPAN. She wishes to revive her house, which is the main plot of her own route in Sengoku Rance.
Yamamoto Isoroku is the name of a famous Japanese admiral (male) in World War II.

Kichikuou RanceEdit
Isoroku is the second daughter of the Yamamoto house in JAPAN. Her biggest wish is to have a son who can carry on the Yamamoto family name. She is an expert of Japanese archery. She was named after the time of her birth (year 56).
Sengoku RanceEdit
In order to save Tarou, her brother whom has been taken hostage by Ashikaga Choushin during the extermination of Yamamoto clan, Isoroku must work for Ashikaga House.
Isoroku is first shown during the scene after one of Ashikaga's territories is taken by Oda. Her task is to assassinate Oda's secret ruler, Rance, though it always failed in every possible attempt. Her position in the Ashikaga's troops isn't good as they often disgrace her fallen family and the fact that she is a female. Even so, she tries to endure the hardships she received just for the sake of her brother's safety.
It's possible to capture her either in battle or after the fall of Ashikaga House. Not long after she joins Oda's army following Ashikaga House's defeat, she will go to the village that her brother has been taken hostage to with Rance. Unfortunately, someone informed her that Tarou had died a year ago, much to her grief and despair. Rance tried to cheer her up by suggesting her an alternative for her family to stay alive, it is for her to give birth so the bloodline will continue. With that being said, Rance offers his "service" in order to fulfill Isoroku's wish, though it appears that she cannot let her inheritance to bear a foreigner's blood; Rance is disappointed yet will keep trying to achieve his purpose.
